Head of Business Development SHL Group Ltd. - Pretoria,Johannesburg

Job Description
The Head of Business Development joins a strong existing team of Consultants and will be responsible for establishing a dedicated sales function within South Africa. Whilst also acting as the commercial interface between the delivery teams and the high income client and those with the high potential.

Key responsibilities:
Delivery of sales and revenue through the identification and development of large potentially high value clients within SA.
Maintain and develop additional revenue in a number of very high value current clients.
Provide market specific support and consultancy in large business opportunities throughout SA. Presenting and creating Client buy in on key contracts and opportunities nationally and in Africa.
Work successfully with other Business Development Managers, Consultants and the Manager of Customer Success (within SHL) to deliver maximum revenue from clients.
Represent the client internally within SHL.
To create and follow through business proposals.
Develop and maximise relationships with Workflow providers and Partners.
Develop and implement Business Development processes within SHL.


Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements:
B Degree or equivalent
Considerable sales experience, ideally in a professional services or software environment
Sales management experience, ideally with experience of establishing a sales function
Experience in a solutions selling environment;
Key account/relationship management
Strong negotiating skills and commercial awareness
